Basic electric drives

  • August 03, 2019
  • Workbench v1.5

This section contains the required components and the user-manual for the basic electric drives laboratory.

The components needed for this laboratory are listed below:

  • 01
    Workbench software
    ▶
  • 02
    Three-inverter and motor drive
    ▶
  • 03
Isolated DC power supply (External link)
    ▶
  • 04
    Digital multimeter (External link)
    ▶
  • 05
    Digital signal oscilloscope (External link)
    ▶

please noteNote

DSO is not needed if switching signal is not observed. Switching signal is observed only in second experiment which may be skipped. Workbench has data logging capability of up to 15 kSPS which is sufficient for all other experiments.

Review, Safety considerations when working in power electronics, before proceeding with the experiments.
